# Statement callback

When a statement has been generated, PawaPay will `POST` a callback to the `callbackUrl` provided in the statement creation request.

You can also call our [Check Statement Status](/v2/api-reference/finances/check-statement-status) endpoint to get the latest status of a specific statement request.
